haven't seen the game, so am relying on match reports, and what i see on official match threads on this website and others, and by the sounds of things, we were absolutely terrible today (again).
by all accounts we were totally bossed by Stoke who were down to 10 men
Can someone confirm this for me? just how bad were we?
And if we were truly awful again then are we just narrowly winning these games despite Sherwood? or because of him?
reading through the match threads it sounds like once again
1. no structure or tactics to speak of
2. paulinho and lennon useless again
3. Rose is still a caaant, does he take a can of testosterone before every game or something? why is he so angry?
however, a clean sheet (a rarity) and 3 more points, and Sherwood will point to his record as Spurs boss in the prem, which is overall good.
Any comments welcome.
How Bad Were We? Winning DESPITE Sherwood?

I didn't want AVB gone at the time. It's become more clear since that he should have been given more time IMO.

No, AVB had to go.
Sherwood is a stop gap.
Hopefully some one good is coming.
Who?

I didn't watch the match but I don't think any team plays well at Stoke do they? To come away with a win is good whoever the manager is. Give Tim a break, he's new to coaching.

I know, I know .... that's why I've been watching Bale at Real Madrid.

I loved AVB, his passion for the game was clear to see. But a team of our quality losing 6 and 5-0 suggests something was very wrong.
