Could change next week. We're off to the Emirates.

Albion won't stay up at the expense of the Villa, Albion will stay up on their own steam. But I don't think Villa will go down either. There are definitely three teams below them who deserve to go down first.

Hello Villa
Pride of the Midlands didn't last long did it ?
Pride of Div II methinks!

Had to wait most of the season to say that.
I bet the pain was unbearable!

I was watching Soccer Saturday on Sky yesterday, and Charlie Nicholas was commenting on the Villa game - and he reckoned the Villa were giving 110% throughout, but without a proven finisher like Benteke, all that hard graft came to nothing; and then your defence lets you down by conceding 4 goals!
Personally I thought you might get a draw, but to crash so badly just about sums up your season - too much reliance on Benteke, an uneven midfield and a pretty poor back four. Never did I imagine would I see Villa in such a precarious position to the point of having to look at other results to get you out of trouble.
You'll stay up no problem. But it could be an equally tough time next season if there isn't a mass clearout of the dead wood.
