Everyone here knows my opinion of Lennon and it certainly ain't good
(Kind of like a lite version of Sandy on Dawson) but for me i have been banging on the "sell Lennon" drum for a long time now and really do think it is time to cash in on him. He progressively gets worse each time i watch him and that pace that use to scare the opposition is virtually non existent now. It's sad and Lennon used to be a player i really liked (2 years ago) but now i cringe at the sight of him starting week in week out.
The funny thing is apart from Spurs fans who watch him every week other people actually still think Lennon is a dangerous player, for instance a newspaper article the other day which (and i quote) was talking about Azza after Fulham (which was his best and only good game this season) " The always dangerous Lennon" .... which leads me to believe if others still think he has some sort of ability then please let's just sell him and get a decent amout of money for him. I personally think he;s worth 5/6 mil at best but i think we could atleast take a club to the cleaners and get 10/11 mil for the guy. Thoughts?
Realistic fee for Lennon?

Thing is he has got pace, if he went to somewhere like Sunderland he'd be their best player, hes got to be worth 10m.

He'll probably be a bench-warmer at Sunderland. The likes of Adam Johnson and Giacherrini are better than him. Probably a £4m -£5m player.

Considering Danny Rose went there and was player of the season I'd say you're talking ballacks

Not sure on the fee but I do hope we sell and/or upgrade. No other top team would settle for 9 years of mediocrity (if we're being honest) from one player.
He used to be my favourite player. He did used to be exciting when he was on the ball running at defenders. I used to imagine that he'd improve to the point we could get almost a penalty a game from him. He has not improved one bit. The fact that in his now 9th year when he should be in his pomp, he's going to have his worst goal return for us is pretty damning.

Rose was a left back there, so it's not comparable. Mannone is their current player of the season, though he wwas a 3rd choice keeper at Arsenal. That doesn't mean I can claim Sanogo would be Sunderland's best player.

Sanogo is rubbish, Lennon has been a consistent performer for us in the PL and was a key player for us in the champions league.

Yes Sanago is a donkey but Lennon has not been a consistent performer in years mate. He had 1 real stand out season and had decent spells in his early years but apart from that has never developed as a player. He has got worse each year and judging by his inept ability in attack these days it's time to sell

Plus I look at sterling and it saddens me because he is 10x better than any Lennon and Townsend. I would rather have Redman from Norwich than Lennon. Redmans much more dangerous and would be class in a decent side.

I didn't say he'd been consistently good to be fair
I know what you're saying Don - he's not getting any better and to be fair we are - I don't think that he's got worse is just the squad has improved in pretty much every area since he signed.
Redmond has looked good but I'm wary of signing players that look good for weaker sides.. Pienaar was the standout player for Everton when we got him and was bang average for us.
Lallana, now there's a player
