We were 4th, 5th and 4th again.

To claim this season is comparable is mouser like delusion, no offense.

Also, our record against the big teams hasn't been this bad since...? I dunno, Hoddle maybe?

well we could easily end up 5th this season ....

also 4th and 6th is only far apart because top 4 happens to be cut off for CL, in terms of how good we are as a team, its not that big

yeah. its been terrible. but I am looking at where we end up (league wise and points wise) over a 38 game season, not some kind of mini league v Chelsea Liverpool etc etc


anyway spurs are not a very good side, and that basically just shows that the prem is one of the most overated leagues in the world

Bunch of bottling surfers.

We started the season extremely well organized with all of the numerous defensive type midfielders pressing - so the high-line wasn't too bad (we couldn't score but hey..). It also looked like we might be good in games against the big teams (see Chelsea at home).

Then they stopped pressing and we couldn't defend properly (and still couldn't score).

Now we score a bit, but the defense is almost as comical as it was under Ardiles.

And the signings have been poor overall. Now LvG is going to United there are few positives I can think of at all.

I had fun yesterday but watching Chelsea celebrate was still disgusting. This season is a write off for me now, I'm looking forward to the rest of CL and World Cup. That's it.
