Arsenal need to get their act together next season and actually get past last 16 for once. Being 9th we could've easily been 2nd pot.

What does this mean for us, exactly?

Teams like Dortmund and PSG are catching us. Shouldn't really be an issue for 2 of 3 years, if we continue to get to 2nd round and no further. But after that we could start slipping.
If we continue to qualify (either CL or EL) I cannot see us slipping out of the top 20 any time soon, so we should not slip into pot 3 any time soon.

We should overtake United next season, though

Monaco will go into pot 4 for certain too actually, as they sit 2nd in Ligue 1

Obviously were arsenal or Porto to get eliminated in qualification, then the best ranked lower team will jump up into pot 1, and so on..
