According to the Evening Telegraph, United are looking to poach Celtic youngster Denny Johnstone in the summer.
The 19 year old is out of contract in the summer and is keen to sign for the Terrors given that he'll actually get a chance with us. However, Celtic have offered him a new deal (which the boy is going to reject for his dream move to Tannadice) and United and Celtic are miles apart in valuations - Celtic want over £100k while we're offering a box of jáffa cakes and a box of unused balloons.
Tic fans, what do you think of the young man? I'm sure none of you begrudge the boy his dream move. It'll be a big step up for the boy but I'm sure he'll do fine at such a fantastic club.

According to the Tele there hasn't been a Tribunal for compensation between domestic top flight clubs for 15 years. I find that hard to believe.

Never seen the boy so can't say much apart from the fact he looks as though he's got a decent scoring record
Celtic have also started to do the Madrid/Barca transfer style i'm hearing of adding in a buy back clause which is a good idea but if this boy leaves on a free then that's a different story
Good luck to the boy whatever he choses

Celtic won't be able to do that if they boy is out of contract, although they might try and negotiate a buy back/sell on clause in lieu of a settlement, which we might be tempted to go for.

Have you ever been to Carstairs?
It's the bleakest, most depressing place in the world. It just drains you of any happiness as soon as you get close.
