This is my first article on ja606 so be kind please!!
Firstly, would you be satisfied if we perhaps sacrificed going for title as it will be very difficult with our current squad and instead focused on trying to win a trophy such as the FA cup or the League cup?
Also, I think that all this doom and gloom about our team is slightly unnecessary. Firstly, Szczesny looks like a top quality keeper and our defense, despite being a bit shaky against Udinese, also looks like the best we've had in years.
And only a year ago everyone was raviong about Song being the best DM in the league if not in Europe.
Ramsey and Wilshere are two of the best young British players and Rosicky & Diaby aren't as bad as everyone is making out.
RVP is a world-class striker and Gervinho also looks promising.
Arshavin and Walcott are also players who on their day can win a game on their own and if Arshavin finds his form from 08/09 then we can challenge for trophies.

Wouldn't say the best in Europe but I agree he is top quality when he does what he is good at and not when he is trying to replicate Messi!

True but they are both crocks, Diaby in particular and have been for years. There comes a time when we should think about cutting our losses because lets be honest they aren't earning their wages!

True but we still need at least 4 or 5 quality signings for that to happen and time is running out!!!
