When you got your deserved win at Anfield I thought we created our own pressure.
I can see Gerrard running over and over again in his head how he had made the simple mistake which cost us the game.
It was simply Pressure.
People will say we only had to draw the game but mentally we knew if Chelsea scored first with 30 minutes to go would lead to Man City having one hand on the trophy.
Chelsea defensive record has earned that respect.
jose has earned that respect.
I think when you got your goal the reality sunk in with the away goal rule.
I thought the players and manager made decisions they would not have made in the environment you had at Anfield.
You had no pressure to beat us because win or lose would not have guaranteed you the league or place you above us.
You could play in the manner you did with the excuse of being the away side.
Your team was in the right frame of mind to cause an upset.
I think you now understand when you have something to lose the decisions making becomes harder.

he cant be too hard on himself though, no1 expected Liverpool to be challenging everyone admitted just getting top 4 would be an incredible achievement.
If you are going to look at moments that could have cost us the title then theres been plenty others probably less acceptable then the one that cause a loss to a strong expensive Chelsea team. The Kolo Toure assist to anichebe away to west brom for example.
