Here we go again
Soldado - poor season but track record says he may come good. keep
Adebayor - poor attitude but our best option on form. One year left on his contract and unlikely to be given an extension. Sell
Kane - grown into a useful player, plays for the shirt. Keep
Special mention Eriksen - could well play as a false 9 if required.
Either way I think we need 3 senior strikers if we're going to take the cups seriously. We need someone that can play as a lone striker, Soldado has shown glimpses of his talent but he's not made for the prem and I don't think will ever be prolific for us.
Lukaku and Bony both fit the bill imo, with the Swansea man more likely and potentially a better fit for our system.. assuming we employ a manager that likes possession play. I like Remy but he seems set on a move to the g00ns so I think we can rule him out.
What say you?

I like the idea of Remy because he can play as a winger as well, and we all know we need much better than what Lennon and Townsend are providing.

I wish we had a target in mind for manager, I know I said yesterday regarding FDB, but It's the logical choice, most managers have a particular style
FDB loves the 4-3-3, and we all saw how AVB played in such a negative, predictable way and it bored the fans, but we did get results (at times)

Agreed, however AVB played more of a 4231.. or a 433 with two defensive mids if you prefer. FDB has obviously had a chat with Cruyff and got them playing like Barca, with one player holding and dictating play from in front of the back four - he's converted Blind, a LB in the same way Pep has done with Lahm.
It may be boring at times but get it right and it's beautiful, Eriksen could be a real star in his best position and a system he knows.. but of course any change is a risk.

Think 4-3-3 will be adopted going forward, a Remy style player on the right as the attacking option to cut inside, just want us to make a decision about the manager

I am still hopeful that Soldado will be decent and Kane needs a few more years then he will be a decent back up.
If FDB does come to spurs, 4-3-3 would work because we do still have decent (I am using that term quite loosely) wingers. Fullbacks can attack and Sandro can slip back to CB position if both full backs gone forward to form a back 3. Maybe something like below?
Lloris
Walker - Kaboul - Vert - Anyone but Rose (Fryers maybe?)
Sandro
Holtby - Eriksen
Chadli - Soldado - Lamela
