I think you are being a bit harsh on Hearts.

The resources Hearts have are so, so meagre compared with what is available to Tottenham.

We cannot really expect our teams to be able to compete with the cash rich clubs of the EPL - those days are long gone I'm afraid.

There were some positives for Hearts, Ryan Stevenson imressed me, as did Templeton. But the likes of Danny Grainger etc cannot be expected to cope with established EPL-based players.

i thought a couple of hearts players could do a job at a higher level. The african guy looked pretty classy when he came on and had some good touches. Would have been interesting to see how JJ would have fared. such another og by the owner. Even though I don't support you - i think you have the potential to do well. Can't be easy being a jam tert but would like to see you give celtic and my team a good run. I see spurs are in for a real madrid player. just shows the gulf.
