<Cause i'm not a xenophobe like you>
It's you and other Englishmen who have come on to a Scottish football forum to mock and taunt Scottish football.

Patronising garbage as well.
It's all about money.
Beginning middle and end.
If BSB moved the cash to Germany the Bundesliga would be the most watched league.

I'm mocking the SPL correct, as they are playing dire football every week, doesn't mean i'm being xenophobic.
No need to be so defensive, sheesh.

You're on here mocking.
Calling me xenophobic.
And not pleased about me being defensive.

Southerners - what a bunch of puddle jumpers. Hearts are a proper team with proper fans. You beat a team assembled and run on a fraction of your budget - well done.
The sooner the money bubble bursts the better

Prof. Apologies.
I should have written southern Englishmen.

Mighty, I expected a better performance from Hearts. That was really terrible performance by them, money or not. I've seen plenty of foreign teams, with as little money, give EPL teams a real tough time.
And anyway, Hearts have a rich chairman, so they cannot use this as an excuse.

here is no money in Scottish football

excuses.
Haha. What other excuse do you need? When Hearts can afford to go out and buy players like Van Der Vaart and Bale then I'd expect them to give Spurs a game.

Other countries with populations of 5m and less cash than Scotland produce good club and nAtional sides on a smaller budget

yep your right, other countries - but not that many, have arguably a better standard of football. This is my take on it; Britain is a pretty fooked up country, we have a situation where most kids (in both England and Scotland) have a battle with modern life versus getting kids involved with sport period. Not a recent phenomina but has been deteriating for over 30 years. Hence the failure of the english national team in a succession of tourneys. Basically we are too rich a country compared to ; example poorer european nations that have more than stood up to the greatest english players that england have to muster. This has resulted in a failure of kids being involved in sport. And reasons for this are far too complex for anyone to get to grips with on a forum such as this. How many of us played with some amazing players in our youth, only for nothing to happen to them. In my case I went through a revolution in the late 80s with the rave scene that saw some promising young footballers lose their way. Now you can't get kids enthused about playing football or any other sports (perhaps a small percentage compared to the past).
We might have a much smaller population than England but more than stood up against you in the 70s and before. Rangers versus Leeds anyone?
What I'm trying to say is that - everyone that has kids - think about for one minute how much exercise they get, what your involvement what you do to encourage them - and see what opportunities they have.. where I live, on east coast, there are still the same parks avalable and many more sports clubs etc but the parks are empty. What are you doing about it? Get the kids off the playstation - get the kids away from watching the tv, off the computer. And when I mean getting your kids into exercise - i don't mean to let them go out and riot all over the fckn place. good night
