My Portuguese is terrible, but i swear cinco cinco means 5-5 (formation)... and the commentor said we were playing "kick and run" in English amongst his portuguese....

Which part is 1/4 Portuguese SCT?
Is it from your belly button to your hip and the left leg?

Well my Mother's Father (My Grandado) is Portuguese.

We travel over there every July and stay at his house just outside Porto.

He said to me when I was little "One day my Grandsono, you will become big and strong like the oxo".

Probably why i'm stocky.

I think we showed we can do enough to keep them at bay.

The question now is do we have enough in our locker to get a goal

Bit concerned Dann was reported to be unfit, yeah like he needed resting why dont they just say he was not selected so as to not get him cup tied.

Also funny is that Zigic is still crocked, yet seems to be able to walk about and train at gyms fine and Ethel is not the only one to have reported such.

Encouraging performance last night, seems like Hougton can make a silk purse out of a sows ear...
The age old problem remains though, we cannot score goals.
It is clear we cannot afford to sell anymore players, we need to recruit now not sell to make pocket money for Yeung... where he is probably going he wont need it anyway.

xpat thats spot on the concerns is just that.

Rooney does not seem to be the best suited lone Striker, and again Wood seems more clever but maybe not as cynical in front of goal i think both players are suited to playing together in a 4,4,2.

But understand that as our only 2 Strikers Hughton does not want to wear both down by playing 4,4,2 often but change it off the bench.

So far only King is the only player you would put money on getting a good ratio of goals/game at our club and he is injuried.

Would be interesting to see how Zigic does, but we need to free up his wages and is he even happy here or would he get fed up and spend a lot of time on the threatment table just to get away from playing

Money is a problem though we just dont have any, Hugton knows we we need Strikers.

He wanted Best but Newcastle are reluctant to loan him and want to keep him, and if they was to offload it would be a sale and they want a price we cant afford.

Ranger was someone he wanted but on loan but Newcastle want a sale only (they know if he flops on loan he would be worthless) and we have so little cash we just cant pay £1M+ for a player like him.

There has to be money problems because so many players are slipping through the net, or not even looked at inc Miller (£800K) and Derbyshire (free)

We did talk to Carew so that shows we are looking but only for frees and that indeed we would pay out wages of simular to what King is on if we find the right player.

But how many free agent Strikers are there left out there? And any who would improve on Rooney/King and want £15K or less wages?

Not a big list i guess
