Gutted but proud

Absolutely gutted with the result but I am proud of our season.

This season our expectation was 4th. We achieved that with minimum fuss. The title challenge was not expected till next year so we are a year ahead. This title challenge has given our team a good experience on the pressure it brings and they will better off next season.

Lets not worry about what has happened and I have conceded defeat to Manchester City. Congrats to City and good luck for next year for my beloved Liverpool.

P.S. I am glad that I get to watch Liverpool weekdays and weekends now from next season.

im with you but I cant be too disappointed even though at one stage we had a good chance because in reality the effort to even be in that position has been monumental and I'd rather focus on that tbf.

I'll be gutted if City lose one of their 2 home games now though that would hurt.

If city loose one of their home games we can win the league..

The days of optimism are gone Saggy8. We may as well accept it and move on.

Mamadou

Football is too unpredictable to say it's over. Palace had nothing to play for yet still managed to come from 3-0 down in the last 15 minutes. It's incredibly unlikely that City will lose but I won't stop believing until the final whistle on the last day.

When I look back on the season it will be with pride. Right now though I'm just disappointed with the naive nature of the draw.

I would have loved it to go to the wire. Still, fair play to City - they are a fantastic blend of our attacking prowess and Chelsea's defensive ability. They will be worthy champions.

As for Liverpool, let's hope we build from here.

From a neutral, it is still not over, in fact yours have only slightly reduced from before the start of the game tonight. Anything can happen in the league and City could comfortably bottle it like they almost did against qpr when they won the league. No Kun Aguero too

The title of your post says it all Fiji, gutted but proud of our team.
