I suppose it's too much to ask that we actually got some money for him?
I remember signing him on Champ for Chester for 10k so I can't see it happening
Wish him luck for the future but glad he's going, to be honest there's more important players that we get rid of ahead of El Zhar. Cole, N'Gog and Insua need to be sold now and a decision needs to be made quickly on Aquilani so we can sort out any remaining buys in the transfer market.

Didi
I was pleased that Liverpool have gone back to the behind closed doors method of selection. But when it comes to Aquilani it's rather frustrating as a fan not to know what's happening. I wonder if he has been named in the squad for Saturday?

If we can strip Poulson and Cole out of that list I'd be happy, the salaries they're on will be huge... Maybe a lesson learned on the old 'free' transfer...
Can anyone remember the last 'free' we had that actually paid dividends?

Gary Mac!
I also forgot Poulsen is a must go.
@Agger
I know, I was amazed he wasn't at least in the squad for the Sunderland game. Hope he stays but if we sold him and got a CB and another ST then I'd get over it quite quickly.

Gary Mac's a good shout - though goes to show it's been a while...
I remember feeling quite chuffed we'd got Cole on a free... Ain't no such thing as a free lunch, I suppose...
Beware the free.

I hope we get through the transfer window with Aquilani still on the books as I know eventually he will force himself into the side. However I very much doubt it. A few Italian clubs want him and know he is available, so he will be gone before the window closes. He is too good a player to miss out on.

I think Cole should have half the season to show what he's got. He was a touch unlucky last season and never really got going.
He is still a player that can add things that the rest of the players do not have.
