Just want to give some praise to two players who have taken a lot of stick from myself and many other fans at times this season....Dzeko and Demichelis.
Fair play to them for upping their game when it mattered, Demichelis had a tough start but hes been our best defender for the last 2 months.
Dzeko could not hit a barn door around the start of the year and i thought his time was up, but he has stepped up in Agueros absence and Negredos dip in form to score some very important goals and the lad never gives up.
People will lash the praise on Kompany, Silva and Toure but these two deserve just as much credit as do the rest of the team
Whatever happens Sunday...

It's a cross we have to bear.
Can you move on to how much of a liability Joe Hart is now.

Demichelis gets dogs abuse, but he's actually a good player. It's like last season ago when people were going on about Luiz being mince. Nowhere near as bad as people say.

"Yo are you serious he his so bad I wouldn't even let him play alongside me, I am surprised Kompany hasnt made a formal protest. His assets are in speed and aggressiveness that is it, he leaves you exposed and rushes into things."
His assets are in speed? Are you kidding? His lack of speed is what has caught him out, like against Barca. If you look at that, Kompany was out of position and Demichelis got sent off making a rash challenge covering for him. Any time we play the offside trap on the 18 yard line, Demichelis will be in the perfect position and it will be someone else playing the opposition on side.
He has a much better footballing brain than he has physical qualities anymore. To question his positioning is completely opposite to what his actual failings are.

I've always said that demichelis had been getting undeserved stick during that rocky period for you a few months back. It was all too easy to put the blame on him rather than Kompany.

"Demichelis is the worst CB at any of the top 4 clubs."
These last two months, I wouldn't swap him for any cb at arsenal or Liverpool. He's actually been better than Kompany.

Just found this comedy! Is that guy serious?
Demi has been brilliant for a while now after over the top criticism from the press and pundits alike.
See Jo hart also!
I bet Alan Hansen wishes Liverpool had a defender who could defend half as well!

As i said before i would love to see Terry and Cahill play our system, spending most of the time on the half way line pressuring the opposition instead of sat in their own box with 3 or 4 defensive midfielders in front of them.
The irony is when AVB took charge he did exactly that and Terry had his worse season of his career couldn't hack it and he made mugs like Walcott look good

Pundits look for a target, often a new foreign signing and continually slag him off. Demich has been pretty good throughout when i've seen him and lately has been rock solid.
Mersey of the day pundits slaughtered him for every tiny error yet barely mentioned any of Kompanys faults.
Zabaleta is such an intelligent player going forward as last night showed, timing of runs etc and is a player it is easy to admire despite being a United fan. Hope you finish the job though it hurts but for me and everyone else i know it is the lesser of 2 evils.

I've said Demichellis is decent before. Saying you wouldn't swap him for Kos/Mertesacker is stupid though. And he is playing better than Kompany because Kompany really hasn't been any good.

The only reason why i wouldn't swap him for Kos/Mertesacker is because of his age.
He has definately another season in him at this level though.
