Another thread on Big Bressie
Will he be in the starting 11 against Sri-lanka? Lets hope not.. For a strike bowler. Looking at his stats hes only ever taken 1, 5 wicket haul in 23 test matches for England. 6 in total in his first class career of 130 games
His strike rate at test level each time he takes a scalp is 65.
Why does this lumbering jack get into the England test team?
totally tripe.

Why did they pick Aberdeen to play cricket on
No surprise its chucking it down.

Just shows the folly of pulling butler and anderson out of the lancashire game. Both need game time but have been pulled for a meaningless game.

Bresnan is solid, but not a potential monster of a bowler.
Finn, if managed correctly could be devastating.
I heard a rumour his pace is down, which may be a ploy to rediscover accuracy first... But either way, he is a strike bowler taking wickets.
Fasties look good.
Anderson, Broad, Finn, Stokes
Back up: Jordan, Mills, Overton, Gregory
Harsh to leave out Onions and Bresnan, but with the back up, we need to try and focus on the youngsters.
Spin concerns me. Borthwick isn't bowling much. The young lad Riley at Kent has made a good start.

Spin definitely a concern. You could add Kerrigan to those names but it still doesn't inspire confidence. You'd think after the success of Warne and Murali, that there'd be a new generation of young spinners hoping to emulate their idols coming through but doesn't look that way. Spin really does seem to be a dying art.

Oh and OP, your constant negative views on anything Yorkshire is getting really boring. Especially as you claim to be a yorkie.

I don't claim to be a yorkie I am one..
I see Timothy as been drafted into the odi team. Be nice to see him fire the ball down the leg side .. due to action and continue to go over 6 an over like he as in the last year or two. Doesn't matter though.. He bats so that's it,.
I see Carberry is back to.. 35 years old.. we are building for the future. nooooo wait its a kissy bum time from the selectors as per usual.

Great win for Yorkshire at home against Warwickshire.
Brilliant comeback by Yorkshire after that "freak" defeat to Middlesex on a flat Lords pitch.
Come on Yorkie White Rose.
