Had to take a laptop to my daughter at Liverpool Uni. (in fairness she's loving it) - but had to take a canoe as the tears flowing in the streets were flooding the carburettor - they have played attractive football (naively at times) but the palpable disappointment over there is overpowering. As a number of them said to me though - next year will be their year (heard that before)- I think not. Suarez probably enticed to Spain - United, Chelsea and City strengthening and European football - this year was their opportunity.
The tears have left a massive watermark on the canoe and car though.
