With the news of us pressing in on a Lallana deal, I got to thinking just how big a summer we are approaching. We have spent so long without CL football that I think people forget the calibre of player we can now attract.
I'm hoping Lallana can be the start of a huge few months, along with a new LB (Coentrao/Shaw), CM (Lars Bender, Javi Martinez) & Wide Forward (Shaquiri, Konoplyanka) - maybe a back up keeper as well? (Marshall, Stockdale)
I think the owners realise we need to spend big & keep out CL position for the next few years whilst building towards an eventual title charge!
The future is finally looking bright!!

My understanding is that he has deputised there for Chile, pep guardiola also went to great lengths to praise the defensive side of his play while he was at barca too.
Apologies if that's not the case..
He has scored 38 in 86 for barca, that's pretty impressive!

I expect him to be one of the stars of the World Cup.

Sadly I agree with you, no chance of that one!!
I haven't seem enough of tello to really rate him, what I have seen is not overly impressive, but i trust brendan to pick up the right players.

I'd imagine Sanchez is on an absolute wedge at Barca.
I just cannot see us making a massive signing like that. It isnt the way we work. If by some miracle he is available at a decent price we may be sniffing around but I just cant see it happening otherwise. Quality player though, and it would be great if we got him.

from what ive read Sanchez is certain to go to Juventus.
