Don't see how it such OL
Comes down to home and away that's it. No exhaustion problems etc. If that was the case are the sides that have to play the cup and one turns out to be a lower league team have an advantage because their season finished a week earlier

So the prem team gets a longer rest and prep time. Poor stuff.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you want the Championship play offs to be played AFTER the Prem team play the winner of the Championship play offs????
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No I want the Scottish Cup to be the last game of the season like it should.

Because there's a fookin play off cup in the first division to play one team in the prem!
Either second top plays second bottom or second and third play the TWO lowest placed teams after relegation.
Self preservation at it's finest and it's stifling our already vvanky game.

Actually think that's something the Championship wanted to make it more interesting at the top of that division.
I would have no problem with it being automatic that second plays 11th
That said if it McCoist is not sacked by at least new year the new manager might be grateful to only have to get you up to 4th and a crack at promotion

It's not self-preservation. Having a possible two teams relegated out of a twelve team league could already be considered too many compared with other leagues.

Spot on Marcelino
Add in to the equation that it is basically the same half dozen who are in the equation and its a one in three chance

I actually think the way we're doing it is right. The team in 2nd should get an advantage over 3rd and 4th. And it's probably right that the prem team gets an advantage too.

Why should the prem team get an advantage?
We should do what england does and if you finish 2nd bottom you go straight down none of this second chance nonsense, you don't deserve it.
