With some of the garbage I have read across the forums today are you lot for real? I was expecting a Castillo kind of fight with what these idiots were saying. The fight wasnt even close. Competitive yes but Mayweather clearly won it. Just because someone comes forward doesnt mean they are winning the rounds. Mayweather beat Maidana at his own game and landed clean shots all night. Mayweather fought in the pocket. This could be down to two reasons either his legs are beginning to go or he wanted to get a knockout. I believe the latter as there was times he was happy to fight on the ropes and counter. Mayweather wasnt at his best but he still found a way to not only win but dominate. The fact I havent seen any of the media claim there was any controversy on the fight only thick brainwashed pactards on forums who havent got a clue. Anyone scoring that a draw or Maidana win either letting their hatred of Mayweather cloud their judgement, or got caught up in the moment that it was actually competitive or in D4 case simply cant score fights. No way I want to see a rematch. Mayweather clearly the better man on the night. Mayweather is a boxing genius. Appreciate the talent while he is still here. Im not sure how long we will see someone like him again. Absolute genius at work and a master of his craft. He beats anyone at 154 hands down.

I think 116-112 Mayweather was a fair reflection on the fight to be honest.
I really like Maidana and thought he put in a great effort but Floyd did win the fight.
I genuinely think Khan - Mayweather would be a very interesting fight Khan can get in and out with a burst of punches.

Finally got round to seeing it, i had mayweather by 2-3 rounds the way the forums had been going I thought it was gonna be a lot closer to maidana winning but couldn't see it myself

Mayweather clearly won the fight. It was a little closer than I expected, but a clear win nonetheless.
I have absolutely no interest in a rematch That would be a pointless fight. Let's see Mayweather take on another challenger.
