First signing of the summer?

None of them were sarcastic, I was giving examples of how we lined up.
The first one was a genuine question, i wondered if I had just completely overlooked it so went back to a few of the games and had a look.

On the face of it looks like a good signing – fast, tricky, experienced for his age - get Stearman & Edwards tied down, Maguire signed and then I think we’ll probably only be looking for one or two more.

Sounds like a solid signing albeit a surprising one, we certainly won't have any issue with cover for wide players now.
Sako, Rowe, Jacobs, henry, van LA parra, Ismail all able there.

I know Rowe can play in a few different positions but I think he’ll slot in besides McDonald most of the time.

So if Maguire goes through, Edwards & Stearman sign we need a second striker and maybe someone on the left although Rowe or Van La Parra might be the cover for Sako.

Rowe is quite versatile by all accounts, even able at left back i read somewhere.

Striker is where we are lightest at this point i would say, and i think Wood would be a good signing as an alternative and if we picked up Wilson as well it would be a job well done.

Add Maguire and lose nobody and it would have been a very good summer, though i will be surprised if we don't have a Sako bid to deal with again.

We certainly seem to be well on the way to getting the depth of squad to give us a chance of being at the right end of the table next season.

If we can get Maguire that would be central defence covered. We seem to have plenty of attacking midfield players also and we are ok for keepers although better to have three than two cause we would be very inexperienced on the bench if Ikeme or McCarey were injured.

We certainly need a striker and I expect us to bring in another full back. Then the big problem is nobody to really step in if KMac were injured, but all teams suffer when their best player is out.
