Southampton

You have to feel sorry for them. On the back of a fantastic season, it looks like their best players (Lallana & Shaw) will be off to both Liverpool & United respectively.

I truly hope that they spend the £40-50M they will receive from these two well, as I like them as a team and would hate to see them drop off as a result of this.

Some of their players are definitely overrated.

If they were as good as people claim they would be challenging for a CL place not scratching around in 8th and doing nothing in the cups.

They have a good production line though and will be able to replace some departures with their own talent.

I doubt Rodriguez will leave this summer because of his serious injury.

They should keep the rest other than Lallana and Shaw and have good wedge in the bank to strengthen elsewhere.

There best players were never going to stay if they didn't get in Europe and in truth they were nowhere near it.

Have to say I think they are overrated as well, both the manager and some of the players.

It's what happens whenever lesser teams out perform themselves

Liverpool are good example, Real will break the bank for Buggs bunny this summer

Thanks to trade protectionism called ffp, their owner is not allowed to put his money into the club anymore.
Southampton will have to sell their best players to the Vultures now circling overhead.
Lets see how this principle encourages ORGANIC GROWTH many fans have been spouting on here.
