Sven likes C0X....

...slightly surprising, as I always thought he loved the ladies.

According to the Daily Mirror today we will offer around £3m.

I'm not sure he'll want to drop down either. I'm not sure I want him to drop down.

He rejected us in the not so distant past, and I'm not sure he'd be coming for anything but Money. However, he's going to find his chances even more limitied at WBA with their recent signing of Long, I make him about 5th choice....

Don't know if you've noticed, but every 'rumour' from new papers have got us down as a '£3M BID' I just want the end of the window to come. Fingers crossed we get who we want (Who ever that is)

Lets cheer the lads on tomorrow are the city ground!

I'm not sure why we don't go back for the yak! Everton will sell for sure and his wages will be worth it as he proved last season he can score in this league! He was one of our first targets, I'm getting a bit restless that we seem to be now going for 4 th and 5 th choice strikers!

There was a piece in the paper today about Kenwright telling the fans how strapped for cash they are as they can't borrow at all.

You'd think a decent bid for Yak or Beckford would be a temptation in those circumstances, but I guess Moyes will be wondering who he could buy for around £3 mill, who's top half prem quality...

Moyes said earlier that we have bid 2M for Beckford. Listen to Radio Leicester from 5 and you could hear about it.

Sounds very much like an invite to come back with a bigger bid.

i do like cox (or perhaps i shouldnt put it that way). i think he has been playing more of an attacking midfield player though when at swindon, he really was an out and out striker who was similar to maynard and liked hanging around the last defender.he now seems to be down the pecking order and with west brom looking favorite to signhargreaves, maybe they would want to free up some funds for wages.what im not too keen on however is sven going in with low offers. there is a market value for these strikers, and all a small offer does is to create interest from ..other clubs.
