I'm wondering who will test Sevilla's resolve this summer and go in all guns a-blazin' to prize Croatian midfield maestro Ivan Rakitićto their club this summer.
This guy has grabbed La Liga by the mínge this season and been an absolute gem of a player.
I can think of many clubs in Europe and notably the Premier League who could do themselves a big favour persuading the Swiss born Croatian international to ply his trade for their club (Man Utd in-particular).
Has anyone else seen this guy work his own brand of Swiss/Slavic magic over the course of the season? Simply gorgeous...

All depends on price, if Southampton insist on us paying £25m for Lallana then I'd look at him!
Great player!

I heard he was signing for Madrid at the end of his contract, probably media rubbish though.

I think we're back to that inalienable fact that Premier League players and certainly ENGLISH players tend to be hideously over-priced, don't they?
Lallana is a great example. He's had a great season at Southampton, forced his way into the International set-up with England and looks a really exciting established Premier League player.
Obviously he's a very important player for the Saints and understandably they'll want as much money as possible for him should they agree to sell him. But 25 million??? That's absolutely crazy in my opinion.
A player like Rakitić (& of course this is just my moist opinion) is the same age (as Lallana, but I doubt he'd cost much more (he might even cost less) than Lallana.

Still got 12 months on his deal, would Seville rather sell now than lose him for nowt? Why would Madrid need him?

He's actually been very strongly linked with both Barca and Real. But for me that'd be a bad move for the guy, he'd very likely be a bit-part player in either of those teams. A player of his ability, at this stage of his career needs to be playing regularly and taking centre-stage at whatever club he's playing his football at!

Yer, he'd better off at a club where he's going to play every week!

THAT goal he set up for Bacca against Madrid.
He's had a fantastic season and has played to a high standard for Sevilla for three seasons now, but nevertheless I feel he's being hyped a bit beyond his actual worth right now. Madrid have been strongly linked, but I can't really see him being that successful here.

If he and Modric click in midfield Croatia could have a great World Cup. Plenty of quality throughout the squad too, along with Chile they're one of the two sides who I think could cause a few upsets.
