Potentially, this could be the new-look Chelsea in the future.

B Team: 4-3-3

These are the potential line-ups and formations, likely to be used by AVB.
The question is: how far can this team go?
Can they emulate their predecessors in being as successful or even better, or would they struggle?
Thoughts?

Things are looking good for Chelsea with that potential line up.Lamps,Drogba and Essien have to play for places now and that is a huge positive for us.........we do not need to carry deadwood or big names anymore. All 3 have been great, but we move forward with the new young guys in order to win cups and leagues.

I think Lampard is only going to play a bit part this season, because there'll surely want Essien in there and Mikel and if we do buy Modric then he'll play? Romeu also? Benayoun I think will be a squad player, which is a shame as I rate him a little and I think he offers us something different on the pitch!
Im guessing this could be the season that Lampard plays a bit part role right?

Keep the faith
Essien is injured, so there are no plans for him @ the moment. Even if he recovers, we might sell him, or he'll be a squad player.
Drogba The Tank
Benayoun could be used as part of the Modric deal, so he's Chelsea future looks uncertain.

It is the beginning of the end for Frank, but he must be on the bench and stay in the squad even if it's only because he's such a great example to all the young players.
