Anyone know what sort of season he's had?
We were apparently interested in him (Just rumours?) last summer, but he left Bayern and went to Wolfsburg. A quick Wikipedia search shows he made 30 appearences for them, scoring 4 goals, however he is a defensive midfielder so won't read too much into that stat. Wolfsburg finished 5th so no Champions League for the tough tackling Brazilian.
After being linked to certain players over the years and missing out on them, its always interesting to see / hear how they got on at their new or existing clubs.
I see he has been selected for Brazil 2014. I will watch him with interest if he indeed gets a few games.

An average season, still think he'd suit Arsenal though and is a top player.

Decent player but he is no schneiderlin, he has to be our no1 target for that position

He's been called up to the French Squad I see..... Would fit right in at Arsenal then... He's had a good season at Southampton and knows the Prem so I think your right if comparing the two.... Paul Pogba will be hot property this season, so Morgan Schneiderlin could very well be the answer to DM

Pogba is pretty much a box to box player anyway, and will indeed be much sought after this summer, and expensive if he does move.
Schneiderlin is an adept DM, can play to the role, decent passer, and knows the league. Although he is not a big name, I think he is well suited to our needs.

Schneiderlin excellent discipline, better physically than arteta, can run 90 mins no problem very good stamina, has a bit of creativity about him used to play a playmaker role when he was younger
