Last season already promoted Gillingham sang 'We'll see you next year' at us when the final whistle went which I hope was respect for our football and also them rating our chances in the play offs.
As I walked away from Valley Parade after the play off first leg last season I heard a lot of complimentary remarks from Bradford fans about the way we played the game.
On Sunday I walked past the Southend supporters on the final whistle. They were singing a lot of disparaging songs about us ('Hoofball Albion, Hoof' and 'Boring, Boring Albion') and a few fans also got quite aggressive towards some of ours.
Sour grapes at losing? Disappointment at not getting a goal against 10 men in that half an hour with a player advantage? Or are we now known in the division for playing ugly football?

I don't think many people are fans of the hoof football.
It's been ugly football for most of the season and it has been frustrating to watch, but whatever your view is it has work in some strange way. Here we are just two games away from promotion. How did that happen?
No doubt a massive factor has been our defense.
When we went down to ten men last Sunday a Strange feeling came over me as the game went on, a strange kind of respect to the Brewers, as they defended wave after wave of attack.
If we had strikers who had hit some form the last 3rd of the season, we would have gone up by way of the autos.
Come on Brewers it's time to give it some.

Sour grapes without a doubt. If it gives you that little extra bit of motivation (although I appreciate you'll probably already be as motivated as its possible to get) then all well and good.
Go down there and get the result you need, that will say it all.

Sour grapes for sure, after failing to score against 10 men with a makeshift defence for half an hour. Why should Southend fans care what style of football Burton play when they only have to watch it twice a season. The only people who should have a say on the style of football you play is you guys - the people who pay good money to watch them play most weeks.
Derby have played lovely football this season, but if I could guarantee a play off final win against QPR then I don't give a stuff how we play on the day!
Good luck tomorrow...
