First of all, it's good to see JA606 back up and running...
So where're we at transfer-wise then? As far as I'm aware, we're linked with 3 players; Hadouir (free), Ched Evans (about a million) & Kieron Dyer (free).
At the right wages I think these 3 could be good signings for us.
- Evans is the big guy up front we've lacked since Viduka left - admittedly, he's not a patch on the big aussie, but he's more than adequate in the Champo.
- Dyer is obviously one of the most injury-prone footballers in history, but he can be an outstanding footballer on his day, and so long as we're not paying him above the odds, I'd be happy to see him here. You never know, we might get lucky and have a full season outta him!
- Hadouir... I don't have a clue on this guy, but he's a winger, which is good news & I trust Mowbray's judgement. He's also free & won't be on much each week.
Hopefully the outgoing player situation will get going soon too, so we can start to be more proactive in the market.

I was wondering what had happened to JA606 but lets hope they have sorted the probs.
Transfers, I agree with you on Evans...he'll provide us with a threat, but as for Dyer I'm not 2 sure...as much as he was a good player, I think his injuries have taken their toll on him & as for Hadouir...like yourself we'll just have to wait & see, But 1 thing I'm sure of.....is that Gibbo will back Mogga as much as he can.

i disagree Ched was shipped out by Man City and didn't impress me at the blades. dyer is ok on a pay as you play basis and the 3rd i have no idea.

Not sure what Evans has ever done to warrent £1m
never mind the £3m they bought him for - although I'm
not sure we could attract anyone better right now.
Dyer surely has lost his pace due to his age and his injuries and would have to go from a reported £83,000pw to about £6,000pw.
The other chap sounds fairly good from what I've read but Alves sounded like a world beater when I read about him. I just do not trust the Dutch league!

Dyre is well dyre, he hasn't got a full 90 minutes in him and never has, ive only ever seen him be influential for 30 mins max in a game, normally fades out of the game after 45 mins or son.
Not for me im afraid but im opening to be proven wrong.
