We're Now Top 3 Minimum

We are now top 3 team in the country now I believe and the next few years titles will be going anywhere between The Etihad, Stamford Bridge and The Emirates for the foreseeable future. We all know Liverpools lack of distraction got them to where they are but their failef title bid proved they were never true threats. Couldn't win it then will never win it now, especially as they will be putting a Suarezless team out.

All we needed was the cup to get that mental edge back from now and fourth every season I believe a top 3 finish with at at the very least an FA cup will be the minimum rewards for our efforts. But the CL and EPL will become stronger priorities for us. After Wengers post-match he was saying those trophies are the next target hes always aimed for top 4 which.is why we end up there but with a new found belief that we can challenge he seems like a rejuvenated man. He needed that.

Last summer was his first to freely spend so he was a tad nervous on new territory but the Ozil signing has been a success and now Wenger will thrive in the market. We weren't wining anything before Mesut arrived and suddenly that gets put right how can he be a flop he's already surpassed the former losers status' in RVP, Nasri, Ade, Song, Arshavin and co. All bottled their chance for a worst trophy.

Next seasons top 4 battle will really be interesting between Liverpool, Spurs, Everton and a more stronger United side with Van Gaal. He will certainly improve on Moyes but theres is crazy amount of work to do and will take them 2 summers to get back on track. Think mentally they'll have the edge over a more occupied Liverpool and the pretenders in Spurs and Everton.

We've got a solid team to build on and Wengers actions in signing on Kos, Per, Ramsey, Santi, Shezza all in recen month means he's now ready to strengthen rather than replace. One must appreciate that last summer to be fair we did have to clear deadwood most of that is done now with Bedntner the last one left. Sagna and Fab are 2 exceptions but we'll replace them adequately unfortunately you might have to add TV who walked up the stairs so depressed must not have felt right leading the team without playing especially when his replacement played a mass role in our comeback.

Wenger now won't risk Giroud as the main man again next year he did provide the improvement he wanted but he knows it's far from good enough. Wengers reluctamce to offer his favourite DM Arteta an extension proves hes already pondering a replacement. Fix those sppts and the big titles are coming.

We're the toughest top team for City on average and we'll beat them in the CS to set our marker down with this new belief if we lose though we'll end up with a world class panic buy to inspire us again.

Sheriff I know Van Gaal signing gives your team new found hope but even Liverpool took one seaaon with new management to get back in the top 4. Like us in 07/08 they were a team with flair and potential so put up a good fight witg no distraction but with that now I back them to drop out.

The 1 thing Wenger guarantees at the very least is top 4 so we won't be dropping out that's not even a worry ots about whether we have the legs to keep going come april but we'll never gey a fixed fixture list like that again so might go alot smoother.

Cjelsea and City are now our concerns

Obviously this article ridiculous, but I don't get why so many of you are defensive about this point. Playing fewer games gives you more time to prepare for matches, more recovery time and reduces the risk of injuries. Hardly an innovative concept - it's not just the CL, either - your early cup exits contributed.

Yes you had a good season, and no CL makes it harder to assemble a squad to challenge those who aren't in it (although if you have enough cash, you make it secondary, as City have demonstrated and as United will) but once the season started, you had an advantage, domestically, over your rivals.

Adding to my point about Liverpool's potential that gave them the limitless ambition United are in a totally different scenario as they're in heavy decline won't do a Liverpool till they get a new squad.... 2 summers minimum

Don't agree. United have been poor this season but there's no doubt there is a lot of class players in their squad. Better direction and a few additions and they will be back.

Liverpool need to keep Suarez and add IMO.

You'll still finish above Arsenal if you did, probably smash them to pieces again too. They are far to mentally weak.

How am I delusional you idiot if you've just written United off with that response then who else threatens our spot? Again Liverpool's lack of distraction made their position false. United's lack of it may see them snatch 4th but no longer good enough for top 3 atm.

Don't just get good again. Changes are needed

Surely with CL games you will need a bigger squad? One of the advantages you had this year was that your key players stayed fit for long periods.

If you lose Suarez, and I wouldnt bet against it personally, you will have a big hole to fill. Even with 80m its not gauranteed that you will buy well, spurs tried and failed.
