Ok, found him. Didn't realise that Lyon were Olympique Lyonnaise, as Marseille is Olympique Marseille.
14 goals is quite good, but he has scored 22 in all competitions, and 14 in 34 games in Ligue 1. According to the club website.
The problem I have with assessing these foreign players is the quality of the league they played in. After all, Crouch had a good record on international duties, but most of his goals were scored against the likes of Samoa or Fiji.
I think that if we get a new manager who has team tactics at heart he can also get Soldado playing and scoring. Perhaps we have the player, we just need the tactics and ability around him.
