with the imminent signings of Vukcinic and Ibesevic for a combined 9 million we are going to be spoilt for choice in the middle of the park and the final third
vukcevic is pure class and has plenty of pedigree and would have to walk into our team, with the signing of ibesovic ( fingers crossed ) we will have a proper number 9 and a possible front 2 of goodwillie and ibesovic, with the likes of formica, rochina, petrovic, hoilett, nzonzi and ollsen throw vukcevic in there along with the experience of dunn, emerton and pedersen has there been a more exciting time within the last 5 years ?? and have we ever had so much depth in the team ?? if these transfers go through i would have forgotten all about phil//jermaine jones :D
lets just sort out our defence now please!!
exciting times lie ahead

Lobotomist........everything you have posted on ja606 has been anti Blackburn Rovers.
Irrespective of who the owners are and who the manager is,you find fault in anything related to our beloved Rovers.
I've now believe you are a dingle sir.

Dingle slur = cack. Clearly anti buIIshit like myself, not anti Rovers.

Don't do it, an ungodly amount of sugar per moderately-sized bottle. Having said that, great stuff for meetings in the administrative jungle.

I retract the dingle slur.
I still believe that some people will not accept anything remotely positive that's coming out of Ewood at the moment. It reads like mockery of our club.
I expect that from fans of our local rivals, fans of "bigger" clubs and the bored media but not from Rovers fans.

I think SKL makes a good point to be honest. If we got excited about every player we've been linked to this summer we'd have been dissapointed about once a week for the last 3 months. Our current record seems to be about 1 transfer per every 20 rumours, so to be honest I can't be @ssed to go through the whole rigmarole of getting excited again until their names appears on the official website.
The other downer is that Kean doesn't have a clue about management and Venkys don't have a clue about football. I think we can all agree on that yes? God knows there's been enough proof of it over the past 12 months. Bringing foreign players into the PL is a risky business, one because the PL is a step up from anywhere else, and two because the PL is a whole different style of play to adapt to.
Now if it were Hughes, Allardyce or any other good manager signing them then that risk is obviously reduced and there's a greater chance of success. If its the clown college that currently own/manage us then these guys have every chance of being as useless as Rochina and Myles Anderson (and I suspect Formica although at least he looked ok against one of the worst teams in the league at home).

I remember when I was 12 and just being linked to players was exciting. You know, that stage when you're too young to understand the actual game, and transfer speculation was the easiest thing to get into.
Bless.

Love your positive contributions Pee Wee - yep thats right every post you put up is whinging about another poster. The positivity you exude must run 100 hospitals just by yourself.

Im more excited about Petrovic to be honest, unless results go our way these transfers will mean nothing. Our defense has been all disorganised in the game against Wolves as well as in pre-season.
We need an experienced defender and Im baffled why our manager decides to play Rochina in the wrong position when he comes on.

Now you're 15 and already lost the will to live.

I'll try and do better,It's just the way i am.
I see so many posts as an attack on our club and probably go over the top defending it in my own way.
I've been going to Ewood for 40 odd years and i've seen some bad teams, bad managers but also had the joy of '95.
After suffering the last few years with nothing to look forward to,what we have now(i know it's far from ideal),gives me plenty of reasons to get a bit exited. We are in the best position since JW took over and the negativity against our rookie manager and owners just for the sake of it just seems wrong to me.
Right no more slurs on other posters from me .
