Afternoon Red Fans,
Hope you guys are keeping well in the off season. Now we've all enjoyed the demise of United this season, finishing 7th only sweetened our title challenge and champions league spot!
But now they've appointed Van Gaal. What do you guys think of him?

Dont care about his style of football i just cant wait to see his reaction to one of Rooneys strops or when "ticket tout" Charlton stick his nosey hooter in on his business.

I think he is a good manager and will improve them and they will probably sneak 4th by a couple of points next year.
Does make me laugh though when their fans saying they will mount a serious challenge for the league despite finishing 7th this year.. just doesn't happen does it.

Yeah I see where you guys are coming from but the rumours say he'll get £150 million to spend - if that doesn't help mount a challenge then nothing will lol

Lets not forget they are favourites with a massive advantage of no European football. Also their players become immune to injury due to no Europe.

He'll be an improvement, no doubt. But I think Utd will finish 4th-5th next season. It all depends who he brings in and how quickly they settle.

With the mass exodus from old trafford I would expect them to be just looking to consolidate a place in mid table for a couple of years before trying for a Europa place to help them get back to being a big club again.
