The Truth Will Out

Manchester City's Yaya Toure wants assurances he will have a "job for life" at the club, his agent has said.
The 31-year-old midfielder was said to be "very upset" by a perceived lack of respect shown him by City's owners.
But Dimitri Seluk says Toure wants the "same club for as long as possible" as well as similar treatment to that given Zinedine Zidane by Real Madrid.
Zidane became an advisor and coach at Madrid after ending his playing career with the Spanish giants.
"It gives a message - 'we like you and you're with us forever'," said Seluk.
"People think we did this because we want to change the contract, to make more money," Seluk told BBC Sport.
"The contract is OK. For us, the most important is attention from the club to whom Yaya gives a lot."

Just as we thought - this was just a money making operation by Seluk.

He has leverage with the corking contract that Patrick Vieira received and wants Yaya to receive the same.
The Zidane comment is just him being clever.

And with his own 20% which currently gives him £30k/week from Yaya alone, the deal should keep him in hookers and suncream forever.

It is just such a shame that the feelings of the fans are completely dismissed.

Yaya is confused.com, his agent is making him look a right dyck.

Secretly Yaya is probably embarrassed by Seluk but as he's been with him for most of his career he feels he has to go with him, too close.

Needs a new agent, i will give it a go Yaya.

The damage to his reputation with these bizzare stories will come back to haunt him.

I say sell him.

Showing enough respect? During the celebrations on the last day, we all sang the Yaya song and the players did the dance on the podium. And in return, the club, which includes us as well as the staff get disrespected. Not quite tevezgate but getting there.

As far as an understanding between a PL footballer and a regular fan goes it's all over.

Where is the connection, the understanding, the identification.
Mortgages, school fees, my local pub? I don't think so.

The Gallaghers might be able to communicate with them at a push.

The best way to receive the same treatment as Paddy V would be to act like Paddy V - ie, not kick up an absolute 5hitstorm on social media making your demands.

I very much doubt the powers at be will want him in the backroom after this behaviour - loose cannon springs to mind.

Test his resolve, give him the role on the proviso that he sacks his agent.

I think he may be angling for a move to PSG now. The comments on Twitter have disappeared and ones showing him being feted in Qatar are now on show.
