Until the financial environment changes or we have a fortunate convergence of many factors such as top quality youth players emerging together, couple of good signings and playing above ourselves with a favourable draw then Europe is group stage box ticked any less a failure anything more a bonus

Decent Europa run should also be an expectation in the seasons it occurs. Again very dependent upon the draw as there are some very very good sides in it also

You have to imagine the way things have gone over at Ibrox has also played its part. Seriously and no WUM but he could be hanging about for a clash that might not come and realistically cant see his stock possibly going higher. So all in all not a hard to understand his decision without reading anyone particular reason into it. He probably has more than most to pick from as to why it would be appealing to get out.
