.....reminds me of the walk to the Baseball Ground as a nipper, jumping over the coal grates and with the excitment rising with every step nearer to the floodlights, the sound of singing louder with every corner rounded. Pure excitement because it never really occurred to me we would lose, so I couldn't wait for the match to start.
Fear has gradually formed a larger and larger part of the build-up to big games over the years, dreading defeat at least as much as hoping for victory. At half-time this year against Forest, 3-0 up, all I could think of was "If they get an early goal back we could be in trouble....".
Not this week. It's a freebie, it's landed in our lap unexpectedly. Sure, I'll be desperately disappointed if we don't win, but not completely devastated - it's still been a fantastic season. It's a chance of glory without risking everything.
Let's hope the players see it the same way. An opportunity, not a threat.
No fear.
That tingle....

let's be honest. If we go up we will be better equipped to stay there and kick on. You going up might actually hurt your club more than it helps you as you will spend above your means, they get relegated unable to sell big names on big money. Should be a good game.

Yeah, spending beyond your means, you wouldn't want to be doing that!

Mr T Block,
You should sell yourself to the London School of Psychiatry as an extreme example of Chronic Self Delusion. You are priceless to anyone interested in studying such a topic.
Let us know how much they pay.

T Block,
Lose to Derby, you will have no manager, and administration is inevitable.
You are utterly deluded and clueless. We have nothing to lose as we weren't supposed to be anywhere near Wembley this season.
Barton will be booked in the first 10 minutes, and will then walk the tightrope which he will hopefully fall off.
You have your whole club to lose...bring it on ...
