£80m for Hazard and we'd probably accept. It certainly wouldn't be an outright no if such a large sum was bidded.
------------------------------------------------

No point selling a player like Hazard though even for 80 mill.

Who could we get that is better and who is available ?

Nobody.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Do you really think Jose wouldn't mind selling Hazard for that price in favour of a winger who tracks back?

It seems we've become a selling club now. Once upon a time we wouldn't sell our best players for any price. But supposedly now world class players are easy to replace if you have lots of money...

Once upon a time we not only could we ever keep our best players we also could not get good players to come to us.................we just got other club's cast offs

The last world class player to leave Chelsea was Drogba
The next world class player to leave Chelsea is Cole

Am I missing something? Every story I have read it says £40m not £50m. Or is this the usual add £10m to the transfer fee like we got with Henderson? Either way, its bloody good business to get shot of him for anything over what you paid for him.

Then why did the Kaka and Ronaldo transfers happen then? When you get offered a near world record price for a player you wouldn't just turn it down first thing, the board would heavily consider it and possibly go through with it.

He left before Drogba....not sure if I class him as world class though, especially back then when he spent more time with the physio than on the pitch
