No more sleeps

This is my first ever post although I have been an avid reader for a couple of years. I don't think I have ever felt this nervous/excited as I do now, missed 2007 because of a holiday. I woke up just before 3 and have had 'Since I was young' going round in my head constantly.

This week has really dragged, it's been worse than the build up to Christmas Day when you're a kid.

Just watched the 5 goals v Forest and all 6 goals against Brighton and really do think that today is our day. I've been watching Derby for over 30 years and in my opinion this is the best team we have ever had, so strong in every area with really quality on the bench as well.

I'm going to try and get some more sleep but the odds are against it, just too excited.

Come on you Rams

Thanks for the welcome.

I agree with you Black Country about 2007, I look back at the whole season and think of all the games where we scraped a win by one goal. No disrespect to any of the 2007 players it's just that in 2014 we seem to be a more complete package.

It's not been very often in the time I have supported Derby that I have dared to feel so optimistic. Even if by some fluke QPR win today a return to the premier league still isn't far away.

Right time to get my eldest son up then go pick my dad up.

Safe journey all.

Since I was young.....

There are those who are already in the capital, and those furthest away have already begun their pilgrimage to the other Home of Football... The first spits and spots of the Derby have landed, the light shower of Rams is forecast to turn into a monsoon, saturating Wembley and its environs for the duration.

Storm's a-coming, Arry, and you have no umbrella.

Or, like, whatevs.... Is it kickoff time yet?!!

The tickets are out of the safe. The rosette has been kissed and silent homage paid to my ancestors.
The fat man is on his way to Wembley.

COME ON YOU MIGHTY RAMS!
