Di Maria was very average last night, as were the whole Madrid team, a lot of the ball, but never really looked like scoring until the goal in the 93rd minute, admittedly Bale had a couple of chances, but other than that all Di Maria was doing was putting in crosses that were going straight out of play. Not sure what game you were watching

We were CERTAINLY wathing very different games. Most of the the brilliant runs Madrid made throughout the game came from Di Maria and only cynical fouling from Atleti stopped him. He showed a lot more skill and control on the ball than Ronaldo and Bale last night and you are the only one I've seen call him average last night. Yet, most of the media and watching fans think he was the best player and man of the match.

I can not understand the bitterness towards Bale. At Spurs he gave us some of the best moments the club has had for years and livened up the Premier League. I'm not saying he is the best, and last night he certainly did go missing for much of the game, but he did score a vital goal and that is what he is employed to do.

If he was English many of you would be out shopping this morning for polish to buff up the World Cup as he would be considered a match winner.

Bale has 2 medals this season suarez has none. Bale won player of the season last year suarez didn't.

This guy literally fancies Bale. Has been desperately trying to compare to Ronaldo for around two years now.

Bale is amazing, and I love his personality, so humble. But he's not on Ronaldo's level, or Messi's, nor is 'clearly' better than Suarez, Ibra, Iniesta etc.

Great player mind, but you're so far up his D*ck it's insane.

The OP obviously didn't see the 3 or 4 glorious chances monkey boy had in normal time but completely facked up. A couple of them even I would have been disappointed at not getting the shot on target, but because he got a lucky goal from a deflection. The OP may want to "spank the monkey" over Bale, but Id prefer Ramsey.

And as for the youtube link, people like that really should not be allowed to walk our streets unsupervised. I wonder, was he was let out under Thatchers Care in the Community scheme?
