What about the Teleprinter on bbc Grandstand.
It was great, even when it got stuck or paused, having given the Home Team`s score. The anticipation was immense.

I loved the 'Team Talk Headlines' on ITV pages 143, 144 and ultimately 145.
Always great during the summer.

FM analogue radio is far superior to DAB in terms of sound quality.
Vinyl can sound great but Qobuz sounds brilliant and is very convenient, blows 320 Spotify out of the water with uncompressed FLAC.

We had an "H" shaped aerial on the roof.
Posh people hid theirs in the attic.
And our tele used to take hours for the valves and tube to warm up.
Used to hate those "Interludes" though, and that little girl with the stupid smile on her face.
