""Not to the level Hamilton does. He whines even when he leading a race."" I am a great fan of Hamilton but he does have weaknesses. The problem for me is that the people who aren't fans are so quick to criticise, even when he is his frequently brilliant self. Yes he does moan, the team have even told him over the radio to shut up and get on with the job. We are now hearing Vettel whine just as much, especially now he has a team mate who is allowed to beat him. These drivers are highly motivated, that is why they are a success. Hamilton needs to work on mental strength improvement to increase his alread prodigious ability and I hope he does it. But the Hamilton whiners will be whining about Hamilton all the same. They ALL whine and moan, they are ALL demanding. They give the best and they expect the best, it has always been like that, nature of the beast. I'll bet you this, drivers will stop whining before fans.

I have noticed that higher standards are. Expected of Hamilton than a lot of his competitors. For example when Alonso said last year, he wanted another car for his birthday (sic) nothing was said.

If Hamilton had said the same, there would be rioting in the streets.

My top 5 drivers of this years season are:

1: L. Hamilton, always been a big fan
2: F. Alonso, used to hate him but I like him now
3: R. Grosjean, huge improvement from recent years
4: N. Rosberg, the battle between him and LH is amazing
5: D. Ricciardo, he's proving his class now at Red Bull

Least favourite driver: K. Raikkonen, he's under-performing at Ferrari, again, it's like watching a repeat of 2009. Disagree and discuss if you like, it's what this board is for!

Its funny how Vettel, hamilton, alonso are considered whiners. Isnt it a coincidence that they are perhaps considered the best drivers, are given the most airtime, have the most at stake etc.

i reckon most drivers are the same. You just hear it more from those lads, because of airtime etc.

I wonder really, do you remember any radio messages from Alonso since this season started?

Appears the producer is always interested in Hamilton's radio messages

Alonso uses Italian when he's annoyed or trying to be sly. Not a huge amount of people in the world speak Italian so I think the producer doesn't bother.
