Why oh why does he continue to be chosen for England?
Someone please tell me what he offers at international level?? If it is the ability to play RB and LB(which he showed he cant last night) then why take Shaw to the WC. Clyne at Southampton had a much better season in the PL.
So why does this donkey keep getting selected?
Glen Johnson Out!!!

Arouna
Hopefully they'll both get a chance in their correct positions in one of these friendlies. If they don't then Hodgson is an idiot.

To be fair on Johnson, he seemed like the right winger at times when that wasn't his position. Lallana or whoever was meant to be playing there were too central. We lacked width all night.

I'd personally like to see Walker. But that's my club bias
Stones should get the nod over Smalling for me

I woild prefer to see a back three with stones and someone like milner at RWB and Baines at LWB.
Would help posession and give England a CB who can break into midfield with the ball.
But Flanno over Johnson I hope in next game.

If the RB is in the space Lallana wanted to play in then nothing to do with Lallana.....its bad RB play

Are we right to assume it's Johnson's fault then?
By the way I'd like to see Hodge at least experiment with 3 at the back too, but he won't have the guts.

It reminded me of Spurs under AVB last night. Lots of possession without really creating anything, and a lack of width, and also vulnerable to the counter attack.
