Italy Strikers

Reading today that Cesare Prandelli is having a tough time deciding on his 23, but confirmed he will be taking FIVE strikers to Brazil, of the seven in the 30-man squad.

As an Italy fan, i'd take a 3-2 defeat today, if Rossi scored a double. He was playing great this season until he got injured and he really deserves a chance at the world cup after a career which has seen him get hardly any luck being for for Italy at the right times. I'm personally not a fan of Cassano, but i'd still be quite surprised if Prandelli - who seems to really trust him - cuts him.

Does that leave Cerci & Destro to be dropped? I hope so, because Insigne has come on leaps and bounds this season at Napoli. Personally i thought Gilardino & Toni had re-invented themselves at middle-ranked Serie A clubs this season to at least deserve to be in the 30.

Whilst i 100% agree to the letter, with Prandelli's choices in both defence and midfield, i'm not so sure about his decisions with the strikers.
