Diarra in, next it will be ratboy out....

... followed by a new striker, funded by the ratboy cash

would not surprise me to see Wilson and Jenas go either

VDV will play Att-CM, with the occasional outings in that position for Krancjar and Thudd

I know I am gonna get some stick for this, but given the laughable ideas from others recently then I really don't care

It's inevitable that Modric will leave, if not this summer then it will be next. Sturridge & a nice sum of cash would be acceptable.

BAE is the first name on the teamsheet partly due to the fact that he is the ONLY true LB we have. Note i say partly, don't wish to discredit his performances over the last few years as they have been of a very high standard. But at the same time if Harry really see's Bale at LB, as he has hinted on several occasions, the arrival of Diarra could see this idea materialize. I am just speculating of course, but it makes sense to me. Bale made his initial impact when he replaced BAE during the African Cup of nations, from LB. Since he moved to LM he has lost the consistency due to not having enough runway ahead of him.

Sandro beside Diarra...............I would have that team all day.

Nika to be honest you make a very good point . I still believe BAE makes us more solid at the back and Harry is , as you have hinted forced to play Bae at LB. <OK>

messiah - I've always stated that Modric is an overrated influence at Spurs and that we could play equally as well without him, as dozens of examples have shown us. The only reasons I wouldn't want to sell are the impression Spurs would give off to everyone selling a top player, and strengthening a fellow PL rival. Selling to United would be as bad as Chelsea BTW. How much do we want to keep feeding them?

number 8 - If we were to get Sturridge with cash for Modric that would be a great deal, and I believe we'd not be weakened from it. Fair enough I see your point about it not directly weakening Chelsea, although they'd lose a young player with lots of potential for the future. Plus with one less English player won't they be struggling to meet the homegrown players rule that's going to be coming in?

See Spurtle I dont see it that way re: the Man U thing. I think we are still a long way off Man U but I think we are a lot closer to Chelsea.

BAE will be our number one choice at LB for years to come, so Bale will not play there unless BAE is injured

I am not quite sure how Harry is gonna line the players up - but I still think he will go for VDV sitting behind a lone striker - Adey? who knows but i seriously doubt it will be him
