Blimey Spike that was 8 year ago, I had a turn of speed 8 year ago!

OK things fell apart at Fulham, but everything fell apart at Fulham. Wenger wouldn't have kept him on the books for 6 years if he didn't think he was worth it. I think his experience will show. Last year Vlaar had to carry the whole defence. Sendoras could make a significant difference, and also improves our options at the back a lot.

better than baker and Clarke.... I think okore and vlaar will be our main center defence. Okore looked really good before he got injured, hope he comes back the same player

Typical. Screams about how we should be signing experience. And when we do......

Get real. We aren't going to sign Gary Cahill or anybody of that ilk. The fact that Senderos has spent all his time at top clubs (Fulham excepted) must mean something. Let's see what he can do. He and Vlaar could be quite a strong combination; for the first time Vlaar will have somebody alongside who he doesn't have to babysit.

I say him and Vlaar because I think Lambert will ease Okore back in fairly gently.
