Arsene mad to let Mou have his crown jewel

For many years, Cesc was described variously as Arsene and Arsenals' crown jewel, the apple of Arsene Wenger's eyes, the player after Henry who Arsene molded for many years in his own form.... And then there is Maureen... He calls Wenger voyeur, a specialist at failure...
I just don't get it why Arsene is letting Mou get his crown jewel on a silver platter... which man does that? Remember he tagged Arsenal along last season around the loan of Demba Ba upto the last minute and when he knew the window is just closing, pulled the plug....then to show his spite to all started Ba in just one game (Against Norwich)

3) We undoubtably have a sell on clause so will get a percentage of his sale anyway.

you do know that the price is less than what you sold him for not more right!!!!

Mourinho will undoubtably get fed up with Cesc after a while because he is not defensive enough for his liking

What a load of stereotypical nonsense.

You'll see how "defensive" we are next season.

This "defensive Mourinho" you talk about. Is he the same one who managed a team that scored 6 against you guys on Arsene's special day?

A bit simplistic to decide a manager is an attacking one or a defensive one on the basis of one game. Even Arsenal under George Graham scored 5 and 6 on occasions.

Its a very rich of the prats that put a label on Mourinho when he's a better manager than most will ever be including Wenger.
Don't come here with the simplistics when your team got battered and some of your fans call him defensive.

Bovril, it is not just Arsenal fans, who think he is defensive or cautious. Jason Cundy, a Chelsea fan says the same. Does not make him right of course.

Relying on one game is simplistic. A team is not necessarily defensive because they fail to score in one game.

Wenger could never get a team to be as good defensively as a Mourinho side, but lets see him get a team to play like the Arsenal of 2004. Lets be honest they tick different boxes as managers.

I've watched him long enough to know there is more to him then being defensive. Watch his sides from his first tenure at Chelsea. The home games with Barca and Bayern. Scoring 3 and 4 goals away to Man U and Liverpool respectively then tell me he can't attack. He regularly put out teams that included Robben,Duff,JoeCole,Gudjohnssen,Lampard and Drogbe.
The difference between Jose and Wenger is Wenger only knows one way. Jose has a plan B and C and plays for the win whatever the situation dictates.
In his first stint here it was often the opposition that put men behind the ball in fact the term "park the bus" was originally used by Jose. Just calling him defensive lwithout looking at his history isn't right. Judge him next season when he has the players he wants at his disposal.

He has had the resources to play expansive football, but I think in big games like his Champions League semis with Chelsea v Lpool and Athletico, he has been too cautious.Chelsea were behind v Barca so had to go for it.

Though I take into account, as well as looking at goals scored, I look at how a team sets up. I remember Fergie going to the Emirates and putting on a forward to win a game at 1-1 when he could easily shut up shop.I look at Mourinho's set up at Old Trafford and the Emirates last season and while I accept he wanted to win both games, his mindset was not to risk losing to do so.
