seems good news to me if he plays up front

Does he still count as "Home Grown"?

Welcome back, reckon some fans underrate him, he's a new more mature player now, lots of talent

Makes sense from a business and player recruitment side of things. Hard to see how we could lose on a deal like this. I would say if we are to retain the services of Campbell next season as well then Gnarby will have to go out on loan to continue his progression and preferably in this country to get used to playing week in week out .

Sensible signing, too cheap to turn down given his quality.

If he does come he'll be great cover/competition for Walcott and Podolski as well as giving an option for CF or in a front two.

However we could still do with another Wing Forward as Ox, Pod, Walcott are all injury prone and Cazorla shouldn't really play there - although not as a priority. We have to remember that Vela, despite being very impressive in Spain just didn't cut it in the Prem previously (I believe he's come on significantly since then btw).

If Vela doesn't work out we just move him on at a profit anyway.

Bit of a meh signing but I can now see why we aren't in for Cesc. How else would we be able to fund this move?

Legend at the Albion. Didn't play much but scored the equaliser, at the death, against the Dingles.
