Well, seems like Blatter has already sorted another slush fund. Referees instructed that Brazil to win it !!!!!!
1 - Not a penalty in a million years.
2 - Nothing wrong with Croatia's second goal
3 - Oscar's goal followed a blatant foul not givem on Croatian player.
Sick of all this corruption in major competitions.
Absolute effing disgrace

Et is sickening though, you can expect the odd dodgy descision but not a whole string of them in one match.
I'm sorry but this is a fix for Blatter's pension fund

It wouldn't look good if the hosts went out at the group stages

Croatia's disallowed goal was a good decision by modern standards of keeper protection. You're not allowed the same leeway in physically contesting the ball with a leaping keeper.
The penalty was a disgrace though.

CBB, couldn't agree with you more. The Press were saying FIFA were petrified that Brazil would get knocked out in the early stages, hence that dreadful condition. I've never seen Brazil play so badly. A seemingly one man team. Full credit to Croatia, they deserved at least a draw.
Who caught my eye though, was Levren. Go get him Brendan. Only one match, and I watched him throughout, but he was very impressive.

I posted this on another article but with the Arsenal meltdown it dropped off the first page in minutes.
How come nobody is accusing Corluka of trying to break Neymar's legs with exactly the same tackle Sterling was lambasted for?
More to the point, if it deserved red when Sterling did it then why didn't Corluka also get a red?
Where are the calls for Corluka to be sent home from the WC?
Here is the tackle on Neymar (about 25sec in)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLfQ7zaEH7Q
Here is the tackle on Valencia (about 50sec in)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMw_RJC_QNw
As far as I can see the only difference with the Sterling tackle on Valencia was that Valencia saw it coming and jumped over the tackle thereby not actually being touched but the United fans went into meltdown over the severity of it.
Unfortunately, the spam filter won't let me post a link to the thread "Deliberate thug challenge from sterling" where United fans were as near as dammit demanding Sterling's head on a pole.
