In my local fantasy league we have a Bristol Rovers fan who every year at our player auction manages to buy at least one Rovers old boy for his Premiership squad. A couple of nights ago, we held our (drunken) auction for the fantasy World Cup, and when this guy predictably put in a bid for Ricky Lambert, I mused that maybe I ought to buy a current/former Leicester player.
Confronted by a certain amount of disbelief from the Liverpool, Spurs etc supporters in the room that any Foxes might have made it to Brazil, I of course drew their attention to Mahrez, and glancing through the squads, I've spotted old boys Maxi Gradel, Sol Bamba and Gelson Fernandes. (The latter was, of course, only a loan signing, but did play for us about 15 times).
Are there any other old Foxes in Brazil that I've overlooked?

Foxes are really píssing me off.
We have a couple of urban foxes who live beside my house and they've had babies (cubs?) and they make so much fecking noise at all hours of the night. I've been woken up twice this week with the little bassas fighting and screeching.
Down with foxes.

Well Fatfox - I feel the need to comment just to add a semblance of sense to your thread.
Looking forward to seeing Mahrez play at this level - it should give us a good indication as to how he'll get on next year.
Sol Bamba is always worth the admission fee alone so he'll be a good one to watch too.
Up the World Cup Foxes...

Thanks, Mersey. It's obviously care in the community day on JA606.
While I didn't buy any Foxes in my usual league, I later got invited by what I gather are mostly commodities traders to join their league in the official FIFA WC fantasy game. In that, you have to buy a 23-player squad on a very tight budget, so for every high-priced Neymar or Messi that you buy, you have to make up for it with a cheapo Iranian or Honduran. I thus found myself opting for Mahrez as a cut-price forward.
But believe it or not, I also took a wild punt on Sol Bamba as a fairly high-priced defender. This will either turn out to have been an inspired choice or an insane one.

FF - pity you did not leave one of the pictures in the article so we could share in the mirth.
Sol Bamba probably = insane choice but will undoubtedly be an entertaining one!
