The standard of umpiring sri lanka have had to face in this tour has been abysmal every 50/50 chance goes England's way. Martin Gough, Ian Gould (he is rubbish), erasmus rasmus and paul reiffel are all horrendous. We need a few umpires from Asia to simply BALANCE things out I simply do not trust these umpires.

Stupid article. Prior lbw was close enough that he got benefit of the doubt, and as Blue Haven said Prior clearly took a catch off Broad and wasn't given because those are never given.

He couldn't manage to play test cricket.. the action is a shoulder destroyer.. 20 overs a day of baseball and the arm will be 3ft longer.

for those questioning umpires.. ive always had issues with Bowden.. he doesn't give the wicket down the leg side.. ignores 1 lbw that was clilpping and fails to give another.no doubt he willmention the bad light soon. very iffy umpire.

Thank god for the review system, otherwise England would have won that game on a horrendous decision from the umpire, how the hell did he not see that huge edge?
