Unfortunately, I don't believe Jack will be a positive asset for England in this World Cup. Neither do I think he will be a positive asset for Arsenal for the most part of next season.

Tonight's cameo appearence aside. His game really hasn't improved much for a long while so I'm surprised Hodgson picked him for the World Cup squad !

Yes I blame Jack for the defeat entirely, especially when Wayne turned like ship on that ball in the box, did that hangover like thing when you just can't react to the ball at your feet and time goes into the matrix, of course Jack was staring at him from the bench in his shades and it put him off, Wilshere also made our fullbacks play terribly average,

Wilshere made Baines play like a very good outer top 4 player_ with all due respect,

but I can't stand small technical players with intelligence on the pitch, who have an ability that none other possess as Englishmen, all because he makes others play like absolute Richard, yes I blame little Jack for his 20minutes worth.

He is kind of player who needs connection with his teammates and would suit Italian system then English style of play..also he came on too little too late.

I fully agree with this.

People harangue him for trying to do too much with the ball, but I don't think he's a selfish player by any means.
At Arsenal, when he picks the ball up and drives, someone like Ozil or Giroud will drop off and provide a foil with whom he can give-and-go.

His proclivity to run with the ball draws defenders out and creates space, but he needs someone to link-up with to exploit the space which he tries to engineer.

There doesn't seem to be a great deal of understanding between him and his teammates, which and when no-one drops off and plays on the half-turn, he ends up running into a crowd of players.

Sorry 50 I was on beer when I came in from the pub.I didn't mean your article which made a valid point, I was reacting to other people's comments which seem to be negative on our Jack, I still think he's a special talent and its the injuries that have affected his form, I think he might start on Thursday.
